Even though the 330 GT 2+2 had evolved out of the 250 GTE it was a significantly different Ferrari. The 330 GT 2+2 single overhead camshaft V12 engine, which was rated at 300 bhp at 6,600 rpm. The longer engine block was accommodated in a 50 mm longer wheelbase chassis than the preceding 250 GTE. The first series 330 GT 2+2s adapted a four-headlight configuration but was soon succeeded by a single headlight Series II version that looked more refined and is widely considered the more attractive of the two series.

Originally finished in Argento with a Nero (black) interior, this Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 was delivered new to Luigi Chinetti Motors in Greenwich, CT before being sold the same year to its first owner,m one Mr. Riva in the U.S. By 1975, the car was in Montreal, Canada and passed through a known list of owners until it was shown in 2001 at the 10th annual Italian Concours in Seattle, Washington, Registered on Washington State license plates. A gentleman in Colorado acquired the car in 2003. It is finished in silver with a black leather interior with red carpets the interirior also features an AM/FM radio and power windows. The leather seats were redone recently and the odometer currently shows about 60,000 miles. There is a spare wheel and tire in the trunk and the four Borrani wire wheels are shod in Pirelli rubber. This Ferrari has been the subject of a very recent full service including a new clutch, engine mounts, belts, hoses and literally ever service item addressed. Receipts and records from Ferrari authorized factory service are with the car.

The 330 GT 2+2 is a superb grand touring Ferrari. Not only does it offer classic Ferrari V12 performance, but in the words of a journalist at the time, “the available space is suitable not only for short-legged pygmies; four adults can travel comfortably in the 330 GT 2+@ and travel at a factory claimed 152 mph at that!
